Is mealtime a big lost battle with your child? Relax and try out the following easy tips:
- First of all, you have to try your best not to show to your kid that you are angry and not to negotiate with him; focus on being patient, otherwise he will take advantage of the situation and resists furthermore your requests
- Keep in mind that sometimes a child refuses new food around five to seven times before savoring it. This could be based on the smell or the shape of the food offered. Never give up trying
- Involve picky eaters in meal preparation; this would encourage them to taste their maneuver
- Give virtual names to foods based on their shapes; for instance, name broccoli or cauliflower “tree”, “balls” for peas, etc..
